Smoking a truly big pipe is one of those pleasures that I think some pipe smokers shy away from.  It’s not for every day, nor for every tobacco.  But those magic combinations exist which really shine in a large bore, deep pipe, and nothing else is like it.  This is my favorite size, of 7/8″ by 2″ deep.  That’s a big hole, but there’s something unmistakeably perfect about those dimensions.   Once this beast warms up in your hands, it’ll warm your heart too!  Very old Italian wood here.  Stem is ebonite with a faux-bone (Sasquatch bone!) adornment.  Passes a cleaner very easily, no ramping, no fudges.  Just built to smoke.
